The Smith Family 2015

Last year we only got 15 minutes with this family for holiday photos, but this year we got it together for a full two hour shoot!  The kids and the pup were definitely a highlight of the shoot.  Everyone had a good time capturing new pictures at their home in North Scottsdale.  They live near a desert location which was easy to travel to for a different look at the end of the session.  All in all, a success! Can’t wait to work with this adorable bunch again!

Carly Altieri – Class of 2016, Arcadia High School

Carly’s spunk, love for art and fabulous clothing choices set the tone for a stellar shoot over at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa.  With her mom and younger sister along for the ride, we had such a enjoyable evening together.

It really was a well-timed session.  We allowed just enough time to cover a bunch of looks for Carly and even a couple for one of her and her sister. Carly is interested in pursuing graphic design and has a love for the arts. We can’t wait to see where she’ll land for school next year! 🙂

Burley White – Class of 2016

A gentleman, a cowboy and an all around good guy…. Burley had a great session at our studio for his senior portraits!

He brought his truck, rope and mom. 🙂 The perfect accessories to showcase who this guy is and what he holds close to his heart during this time in his life.  We really enjoyed getting to know him and look forward to getting the chance to work with him and his mom in the future!

Anna Bonacci – Class of 2016, Notre Dame Preparatory

Anna is so fun!  She is comfortable in front of the camera, plus we’ve known her and her family for many years!  Having photographed all of her older brothers, we were so excited to finally get to capture her senior portraits.

The day of our session was gloomy, but we had to keep our time because of the looming senior ad deadline.  We arrived to her house with drops coming down from the sky but had a gut feeling everything would be OK.  It was! The sun came for an hour visit and the weather was pretty much perfect.  We just love when everyone is on board in making it happen…. almost always those types of sessions pan out to be the best shoots.

She had her array of clothing options pulled before we arrived so it was easy to pick out what we thought would work best. She looks great in whatever she wears and this cutie doesn’t even have to do the full makeup thing to come across flawlessly in photos.  We loved our session with Anna!

Allison Stachel – Class of 2016, Chaparral High School

We look back on Allison’s Bat Mitzvah and feel like it was just a year ago. We’ve known Allison and her family since Allison was about 9 or 10 years old.  She has grown into such a down to earth, beautiful, intelligent and kind young lady.  We were so excited when she called and said it was time for senior pictures.

She didn’t want the normal type of location for senior portraits with flowers and common backgrounds. She really knew she wanted to do something different… and of course this idea was right up our alley! 😉 After researching different locations for her session, we chose to shoot in and around the area of Tempe Town Lake. This way we could get the grunge look mixed with a little of anything that came our way.

Wind seemed to be our only perceived challenge that day.  We certainly love a challenge and knew that if we could work it right, we’d be able to turn what might have felt like stressful shooting conditions into an opportunity for some incredible images with the “wind-blown” look!  We did just that and we can say we are so pleased with her final results!

We look forward to photographing the whole Stachel family this Spring!

Shannon Stuart – Class of 2016

Shannon’s images were stunning!  This girl is so photogenic and we had such a nice time getting to work with the Stuarts once again… We had photographed Shannon’s older sister for senior pictures too.

We shot at her home with the best backdrops, gates and greenery.  We couldn’t have asked for a better session!  She is looking forward to graduating  this Spring and then we are sure she will be onto to something else great next.  Such a lovely young lady and we have so enjoyed getting to know her!

Connor Graham – Class of 2016, Notre Dame Preparatory

Connor came to the studio for his senior session.  His brand new pup came too!

The Toci Family 2015

This family is a kick!  We helped the Tocis plan for this session by starting with an in-home consultation which guided us in our portrait creating.  It’s never a bad a idea to let us come to the home prior to the session to get an idea of what we’d like to actually be creating for a finished product.  Sometimes this is a great “Happy Wall” like we ended up doing for the Tocis!

With three kids and two dogs, we got right to work with a lot on our plate.  Our main goal was to create some family portraits, but we also were honoring Kyle’s senior year by shooting for some senior pictures as well.

The pictures say it all with this family and we certainly had a ball photographing them!

The Estenson Family Holiday Shoot 2015

We probably spend more time laughing than taking photos when we are with this bunch!  Usually a couple of times a year, we will photograph this family in some new location for an updated portrait or we get the opportunity to be involved with a charity like The Cinderella Affair or help with another photographic project.  Whatever it is, we sure have a blast together!

Traci’s love for casual, candid and different is the same as ours so it’s always a compatible match with the session planning of ideas.  We have even more fun when Grandma and the pups join in the fun too!
